Dogsledding rides from Cold Fire Creek Dogsledding, sleigh rides from Jasper Park Riding Stables, ice skating, fire starting, bannock bake, winter bocce, Aboriginal crafts in a teepee and much more!

Parks Canada - Metis/Explorer Skills Race
For the adventure enthusiasts, the Palisades Centre will be offering a Metis/Explorer skills race. This will involve several activities such as racing with a bundle and a travois, tying knots, building a fire and finishing with roasting a marshmallow. The team who follows the order of skills and has their marshmallow roasted first, is deemed the winner! Depending on the weather, snowshoeing may also be involved. No Charge.
Join Jasper Park Riding Stables and feel the gentle jolt of the sleigh as the horses pick up the pace, kicking up plumes of snow as they prance through a dreamscape of dazzling white. Nestled with your loved ones under warm blankets, savour the mountain vistas of the Rockies in all their winter splendour. Two departures every hour.

Bring your skates this year because Hockey for Hope has moved to the lake!
All players are required to bring a donation of any amount for Brit's trust fund. Helmets are mandatory. Volunteers from The Brain Care Centre in Edmonton will be joining us this year with some other fun activities (tug of war maybe!) and information about concussions and brain injury awareness. All players of legal drinking age will be offered a complimentary beverage at the Whistle Stop after the game! Come in and check out the silent auction items.
